For those of us on private prescriptions for hormones (or anything else)  I just wanted to share some easily missed news that last month Superdrug announced it will be charging trade prices on private prescriptions.

I just got quoted one box of Testogel at £32; versus supermarket prices at £45-£50 and local chemists/ Dr Curtis at £50 - £55.

Well, about a year and a half ago, i was just under 17 and I was told that I'd gotten funding to go to the Portman clinic in London. I live about 20 minutes north west of Manchester in Pieland Wigan (if that's important). I am going to make an appointment to see Dr Curtis, but have already been seeing a psychologist for about a year. Does anybody know if it would be a good idea to get my psychologist to write up anything we've covered in our appointments to save time with him?

I had my followup appointment with Dr Curtis today. To cut a long story short, I've got hormones!
